Kate Alger
Kate Alger is a multi-disciplinary artist-printmaker and educator. Her automotive artwork reflects her wide range of handmade printmaking techniques; pared back silkscreen prints, atmospheric collagraphs, blind embossing and monotypes - unique pieces, essentially an oil painting compressed onto cotton paper with the aid of an antique cast iron printing press.
Kate has exhibited at the RAC and The National Motor Museum for the past few years and is a member of the Guild of Motoring Artists. Alongside her automotive artwork, Kate creates soulful animal portraits and timeless landscapes using a wide variety of printmaking disciplines. Kate has been a finalist in the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year 2024, 2025 and 2026 and is currently a finalist in the Surrey Artist of the Year 2026. Kate is proud to work with traditional materials and processes. Kate welcomes corporate and private commissions.
