Concept – Radiallism

Radiallism is Elliot’s debut series, first exhibited at Boxengasse, the Porsche gathering in Oxfordshire. The idea grew from a childhood memory of a tyre advert—shot from below—showing water spraying outward in perfect arcs. This sparked the question: what if that energy and movement could be captured in paint?

Each work uses historically significant racing liveries—mixed in acrylic or, at times, with authentic manufacturer paints—and period-correct tyres from the cars that inspired them. The tyre becomes the tool that creates the image, resulting in vibrant, high-impact works that transmit the speed and drama of motorsport. The result is striking automotive art that appears to leap from the wall—an original concept that blends technical authenticity with bold visual impact.
